Roxas City Interactive Lighting Installation
A video we recently finished for the folk at Roxas city, on behalf of our client Signify. It was quite challenging because it was raining almost the entire time we were in Roxas city, which made it very difficult to get the exterior shots. Further complicating the project was the quarantine imposed on the city of Roxas, which meant that our flyer couldn’t get more of the shots we needed to complete the video. Regardless, the video was eventually finished and client is a happy camper.
Coke-Dole Kuwait Seminar Series
In November of 2017, Q2 Digital Studio were hired by Coke Philippines to shoot a video for a training program they will be conducting in the Kuwait POLO office (Philippine Overseas Labor Office). The seminar was conducted over 5 days, and had 100 participants. This video is a short 30-second version that provides a synopsis of the activities during the training sessions.
Philips Lighting Upgrade for Ormoc City
In 2017, Ormoc City replaced all its street lights with Philips LED lights. This project was done below budget, and resulted in a tremendous improvement in liveability in the city. Crime went down, business activity increased. Amazingly, the initial cost of the entire project was below expectation – and the vastly reduced power requirements of the LED lights ensure that Ormoc city will continue to enjoy savings for many years.
Rewind: JFC Corporate Profile
We recently discovered this video – one of the first videos we produced in Q2 Digital Studio, and still shot in the old 4:3 aspect ratio! This was also an earlier version before we changed the color scheme to a more generic grey (seen in later versions), but I have always contended that this color scheme was much nicer!
We revised this video many times since its completion. In fact I used to remind the corporate communication staff at JFC it was the only video we had ever produced that was still being used, even if it was not in HD format.
Overall, a very nicely done video!
SLTech Power Plant in Calaca, Batangas

We recently concluded shooting a corporate video for the South Luzon Thermal Energy Corporation Coal fired power plant in Calaca, Batangas. This project was quite unique, because it was the first time that we went to a power plant the day before in order to begin shooting as early as possible! The client’s facility was one of the new generation of coal-fired plants, and was EXTREMELY clean – very different what we imagine when we think of coal-fired plants. From what we had seen, it is clear that coal is an economical means to provide baseload power for the Philippine’s power requirements!
Rewind: Partners for Resilience – Overview video (Indonesian)
Not too long ago, our team produced a series of videos for the Partners for Resilience – a Norway-based organization made up of 5 major NGOs. This video was the first of the series, and had an Indonesian version with an excellent voiceover c/o old friend Setiawan, who not only facilitated the recording but also did some last minute checking of the script to make sure that the language was right. This was quite interesting to us, because we had always thought (quite wrongly) that Indonesian was a very simple language, but it is apparently a rich language with many nuances!
This video is typical of the translations done by Q2 – not just a voiceover, but script and graphics as well.
